Microsoft Consent Mode.
Microsoft Advertising's UET tag reads one consent property, ad_storage, and the configurator maps it to the visitor's choice.
Gravito CMP sends the visitor's consent to Google Consent Mode v2, Microsoft UET Consent Mode and the Amazon Consent Signal (ACS) from a single script, switched on in the same configuration rather than added as separate tags. Gravito Data Platform keeps first-party profiles and audiences on your own pages, for personalisation. Our team sets it up with you.
This page is for brands and retailers. It covers the consent signals that Google, Microsoft and Amazon read, first-party profiles on your own pages, and a verdict on which visits are human. It does not explain the laws behind them, and nothing on it is legal advice.
Consent Mode tells Google tags, such as Google Analytics and Google Ads, what the visitor has agreed to, and the tags adjust their behaviour. That makes consent part of how your advertising is measured, not only a banner.
The CMP loads first, before your tag manager, your analytics and your ad stack. It sets the Consent Mode default before Google tags run and sends an update whenever the visitor's choice changes, for all seven Consent Mode v2 signals. You choose Advanced or Basic mode, and in a TCF configuration the Google signals come pre-mapped to TCF purposes.
Gravito CMP is on Google's list of certified CMPs, for web and app, and Gravito is a Google Certified CMP Partner.
Both are switched on in the same configuration as Google's.
Microsoft Advertising's UET tag reads one consent property, ad_storage, and the configurator maps it to the visitor's choice.
Amazon Ads reads the IAB TCF signal; where no TCF string is available, Gravito CMP sets the Amazon Consent Signal from the visitor's marketing choice.
For brands that sell in several regions or run several sites, we set up the decisioning layer so each market gets the framework or configuration that fits, with Consent Mode sent alongside it.
Gravito Data Platform builds audiences from first-party profiles of your visitors, and audience membership and scored preferences are available on the page, live, for personalisation. When a visitor logs in, your login or CRM system can attach a deterministic ID to the profile, for example a hash of their email address, so profiles connect across your domains and devices. Consent state travels with the profile.
Gravito Quality Signal gives each visit a verdict. Tags in Google Tag Manager can wait for it and fire only for the visits you choose; tags that build audiences can leave out visits that are not human, and analytics can report people and automation separately. Automation that behaves like a person can still be classed as human, which is why the verdict feeds your rules rather than replacing them.
If you run several brands, sites or markets and need the same consent reaching Google, Microsoft and Amazon from all of them, with first-party profiles working on your own pages, talk to us.
